The prequel trilogy in general was a piece of shit. Episode 4,5,6 were the best. Oh and btw you guys need to see redlettermedia videos on youtube. Here's part 1 to his review of Episode I..this guy hits the nail on the head every second. SO FUNNY

Personally, I find the CGI to be pretty sweet even to this day and the first 3 episodes are what really hooks me into the SW universe, with Anakin becoming Vader and how he takes on that path, etc. I've seen some people say that it's due to the bad acting, people grew up with the last 3 episodes, etc. but those don't seem to be enough reasons to bash on such a huge franchise. T_T" I suppose I'm one of the blind consumers of modern markets who takes in all the flashy pew pew stuff. Just watch this 7 part series. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxKtZmQgxrI

Han Solo is of course not only one of the greatest movie characters EVER, I also like Harrison Fords interpretation of this independent, ruthless yet lovable womanizer.

Yeah, for me too. I watched IV/V/VI so many times when i was a child/teenager and they never got boring. On July 09 2010 22:06 OMin wrote: yes, the first three are superior technology wise for sure. But story wise, IV/V/VI are more captivating and well made in my opinion. Its been years since I saw episodes I/II all the way through until I had to show my friend, and the perspective difference between a middle schooler and a college student gave me a more mature view of the series. There were definitely a few moments that I really didn't like in Episode I (such as the fate of Naboo and the treaty with the Gungans being based on sucking up to Boss Nass's overblown ego....it really seemed like the scriptwriters ran out of ideas here or something....). And episode II - the plot was a bit convoluted with a little too much going on at once. There were definitely poignant moments in the movie, especially the scene with the long-awaited reunion of Anakin and Shimi. Episode III was by far my favorite of the pre-original batch - the plot was better structured, in my opinion, than the first two. Hm i like Star Wars II the most of the second trilogy. I like all this detective work Obi Wan does and the water planet where the Clone army is made + Coruscant are also pretty fun to watch (not another sandy Tatooine set, meh) Still, they all suck compared to IV/V/VI. Characters like the chosen one, overly gifted, not knowing what lies ahead of him and who gets involved in things much more important than him (Luke), the independent, grumpy, good looking womanizer who chooses the right side. The impersonation of malice, killing people with some evil force (lol), dressed all in black, face hiding behind a mask (Vader). The obscure Lord of the evil forces, intelligent, ruthless whose plans are inscrutable (Emperor). The pretty, young princess. Brave and proud, who falls in love with the anti hero. (Leia) Plus a story like a good book with twists, battles, character development........................ and some awesome locations (endor, death star). The original trilogy is just something that afaik no one has accomplished until today. Story, characters, special effects, general setting, acting are all so creative and well done, it's amazing. I-III have flaws in many many ways. Darth Maul was the only character I thought was really fresh and cool. Everything else was not bad, but it wasn't great either. And then you have some CGI shit like Jar Jar Bings in it, wtf So yeah, IV-VI are very well done and will entertain people even in 100 years i guess. I-II are just good SciFi movies playing in the same universe

Favorite Character: Pre-Vader Anakin Skywalker. I didn't grow up with Luke and Alec Guiness, I grew up with Anakin and Ewan McGregor, and even to this day I can't live down the fact and produce like 500 scenarios where Palpatine's plot is foiled before Anakin turns. I just have to say, I've heard about how all 3 prequels are being bashed because Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman are too wooden, but I kinda like the feel, and it doesn't detract from the story. Also, clones = good in my mind. Ep 1-3 Tatooine looks more friendly and less alone than Ep 4 Tatooine Lightsaber Battles look more active Jedi ftw More better-looking planets And when it comes to Star Wars, I prefer open scale battles to running away and hiding. At any rate, he had 27700 midichlorians per cell, and the final Episode III lightsaber duel was the most badass of them all. The music helps too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSwy412nttI&feature=related Look at him showing his midichlorians Least favorite: Palpatine. I mean, jesus, he betrayed everyone in the lore, Vader (multiple times), Maul, Marek, Dooku, the entire Galactic Republic, etc.
