Seeing the pic reminded me of the frequent use of surgery on kpop idols and how it's translating over to girls of society. Seriously, so many korean girls in real life get surgery these days, mostly the eyelid surgery. What do you guys think about this issue? I personally believe that in this world you have to do anything you can to survive. If your job is to look pretty and be jailbait then I think it's ok to have surgery. I feel like I'm going to get flamed for this part. My opinion on surgery for girls not in the industry is this. Ugly girls=no confidence=hard life because you won't attract guys. In society today, looks are very important because everybody judges off of looks. Ugly Girls get surgery, they become pretty, they gain confidence, nobody's complaining. | ||

If surgery helps that person become who they believe they are, then more power to them. In my opinion though, I don't find an enormous amount of average people ugly but maybe that's just me. Anyways, I think double-eyelid surgery is something pretty insignificant. When I went to the optician a while back to get my eyes checked, he asked if I could see okay (good angle of vision) because I have such small eyes and he suggested if I wanted to get surgery so I could see more if necessary. I'm not sure if he was referring to double-eyelid surgery but a small story I wanted to share. | ||
