First I have to say it's very nice that people like you take the time to share keys and overall it contributes to make the community a better & a more friendly place. As a huge Blizzard fan since warcraft 2 I'm very excited with starcraft 2 because, unlike world of warcraft which is their biggest and overshadowing game atm, the starcraft franchise symbolizes the pinnacle of what I love in video games: first the RTS genre which to me represents THE type of game made for computers (along with FPS games), secondly the science-fiction setting coupled with the epic and deep lore & storyline, and thirdly the "esport",competition and hardcore gaming aspect which are, to me, the real purposes of online video games. Sadly I haven't been chosen to participate in the Sc2 Beta, even despite entering contests left and right (twitter, facebook, as well as fansites etc.) and it saddens me. I was a beta tester for wotlk and to me I did a more or less good job hunting bugs and gameplay issues, so it's unfortunate that blizzard didn't give me an opportunity to help them again. I think that I could be a somewhat useful tester, at least more useful than players who are new or bad at RTS games and cry for unreasonnable nerfs everytime they lose a game. Plus the possibility of entering the beta could give me reasons and incentive to take part in the forum discussions, as of right now my input is limited by the fact that I don't play SC2 Anyway Sorry for my bad engrish have a nice day. | ||

Wow, I'm nothing compared to this guy. However, if I get a beta key, I will work my way up to become just as good as him, if not better. You have my word. | ||

I would like a beta key =) My friend gave me a beta key telling me that I would enjoy it more and he refuses to take it back saying it would go to waste. He really loves SC1 and got me into teamliquid.net and I would like to get a key to give to him so he can waste his life away. =) | ||

Well, some people probably deserved the key more than me, but I'll try anyways. I have been a fan of broodwar for quite a long time. Only played single player until a few years ago though, and when I got introduced to progaming, I fell in love with starcraft all over again. I don't play broodwar competitively, but I would like to try and play starcraft 2 competitively, and what better way to get a headstart than to play first? I have tried for multiple contest but so far I have had no luck, and no friends with beta either so no friend invites. P.S. I also actually want to share it with a friend of mine who has been following the broodwar scene with me, but has also not gotten a key. | ||

And now my foot is swelling and there are some bruises around it. I havent gone out of the house for the last 3 days, Ive been just trying my luck out with the beta key contests and having my head explode trying out r1ch's quizes. So please, for my sprained right foot, give me a key. + Show Spoiler + it still hurts like hell. | ||

----- I'm a fellow StarCraft - Broodwar player/admirer from Mongolia. This game was and is an important part of my life ever since my university-days (Have been playing the game since fall of 1999). Before that i enjoyed playing the original WarCraft back in 1996-97. Besides just playing the game I have also been following the SC scene pretty closely starting 2005, the time i joined TL 5 years ago. Here I found out about the upcoming StarCraft 2 few years ago and have been following its development closely. SC2 Promo for Blizzard in Mongolia. Our community is not as big or skilled like in many countries but size and shape doesn't matter to love something. When the new Battle.net site opened last year, I registered my games on it shortly after (03/20/2009 to be precise) and opted in for the SC2 beta when the option came available around last may if I'm not mistaken. Sensing that the beta is on the doorsteps and hoping to get in it eventually I made a big investment and bought a new PC to replace my old P4 in january just so i could enjoy the beauty of SC2 and dont to experience any hardware drawbacks. Finally the beta came out. Hard to describe how pumped i was.. The first wave of invites came, then the second. Feeling disappointed and seeing that I won't get to test the game, i asked my friends and some fellow country-men who play over battle.net to find out if anyone got invited. No one got.. I think the opt-in is so random that few SC followers here have practically no chance to get in beta and thus send/receive friend invites. We are completely cut-off. So here I am hoping again to get a chance to participate in the beta. I don't have many chances to participate in most of win-beta-key contests here or in other places like facebook because of my timezone, couz most of the activities are centered on europe/us timezones. Thanks for taking your time to read this. In conclusion, for those who haven't seen it already, here is a fun 2v2 replay from me ----- | ||
