Sensing that the beta is on the doorsteps and hoping to get in it eventually I made a big investment and bought a new PC to replace my old P4 in january just so i could enjoy the beauty of SC2 and dont to experience any hardware drawbacks. Finally the beta came out. Hard to describe how pumped i was.. The first wave of invites came, then the second. Feeling disappointed and seeing that I won't get to test the game, i asked my friends and some fellow country-men who play over battle.net to find out if anyone got invited. No one got.. I think the opt-in is so random that few SC followers here have practically no chance to get in beta and thus send/receive friend invites. We are completely cut-off. So here I am hoping again to get a chance to participate in the beta. I don't have many chances to participate in most of win-beta-key contests here or in other places like facebook because of my timezone, couz most of the activities are centered on europe/us timezones. One other is being given out, and the rest are just people who don't even know the BW scene that well or follow it, so I don't think they deserve it at all (I just lie saying I never have a key available, lol).
So why not give it to a deserving SC fan? ![](/mirror/smilies/puh2.gif)

You should give it to me because I value SC more than dignity ![](/mirror/smilies/smile.gif)

I would like a key cause im in a place where I no longer can play sc1 and can only watch sc2 vids. I kinda wanna give it a go and pass it on when I am done learning to prepare for the release.

I'd like a key. My friend has always been one of those really apathetic guys who just goes along with everything rather than ever speaking up and wanting to do anything himself. The other day he surprised me a lot by expressing his desire to play SC2 beta, which I thought was weird because he never said anything about it before. It was nice for me to see him actually excited about something. So yeah it wouldn't be for me but might as well give it a shot.
Also, that guy in the original thread with the time machine schtick? Awesome.

WOW! Thank you soo much Amnesia! You didn't just help me but also our whole community. Because i have a good PC now, we can stream the game to discuss it, follow its development up-close and have a good time.
@Inori: Thank you too for this thread and this opportunity

I would like a key because the 5 closest EB games around me all ran out of beta keys, same with ordering online. I will perform homosexual sexual favors if you give me the key. When I get my own beta key from pre-ordering, I will be sure to give it to someone else on teamliquid. I love you.
Please, bro. All my friends have it, they feel like they are superior to me. I need this to fit in!

Yo! I'd appreciate a key very much! Not only for myself, but I'd like to share it with my two best friends. I just rejoiced when I read amazon.de had a preorder beta deal, only to then find out it's only for a sucky German censored version I've never been selected in any giveaways either, although it was close on some occasions. Not much left to do other than beg. Give the key to me, and three nice people will get to play!
