One thing I did want to point out though was that day9 mentioned that immortals were really the only units that are really the "building killers," but 3 marauders are actually going to kill a nexus quicker than 1 immortal for similar cost (300/75 vs 250/100). Then when you factor in stim (which they will always use when killing a building) it's even more ridiculous. According to http://sc2calc.net/: A marauder without stim vs an armored unit (i.e. a building) does 17.76 DPS. An immortal vs an armored unit does 44.95 DPS. Thus 3 marauders are doing 53.28 DPS, AKA more than the immortal. Then with stim a marauder is doing 26.64 DPS. Thus just 2 marauders with stim are going to kill a nexus faster than an immortal would at much better cost effectiveness. Then with how fast marauders move with stim they can get back out of there extremely quickly + Show Spoiler + like Cauthon did at my natural in game 3 + Show Spoiler + If you watch the video and look at the time stamp he literally kills the nexus in less than 3 seconds, which in my opinion is just ridiculous. You could never kill a nexus that fast in brood war.

I also strongly support putting Huk on the poll after his latest run of results this weekend. + Show Spoiler + Particularly, Huk's performance against top terran players such Kawaiirice x2, QXC, and Cauthonluck during Inflow, Craftcup, and Triple Strike gives me hope that he can pull off a Protoss victory in this series. I know many of the games he played were best of 1 and it seems like Huk frequently plays hyper-aggressive/borderline all-in in some cases, so I'd love to see what he can do in a longer series. His play against Zerg and Protoss mirror (god forbid) is also very strong and would make for entertaining games in the future, should he win.

Idra rages about imbalances too, but he's usually a lot funnier. I remember his replays vs. Protoss from TSL 2, where if he loses he would say something to the effect of "don't you feel bad about this" or "this is really fair." In SC 2 though, he's playing Zerg, so...

@9:40 in game 2 was one of the best use sof Forcefield I've seen with a nice supporting storm. The game should've been orb's, but he sacrificed an Observer at a really bad time, allowing ghosts to basically walk through his army and expend a few hundred energy from his Templars. Ohterwise, would've been a Marauder massacre.

Sure they can shoot workers a bit, but it's the buildings where I think they really hurt. that said, everything you posted is wise and true!

+1 atk immortals 2 shot stimmed marauders (unless marauders have +2 armor, but +2 atk immortal always 2 shots stimmed marauders). of course there were other factors that hurt you in that specific game. you caught some devastating emp's etc. but just from an army composition standpoint those colossi did almost nothing for you while immortals especially with attack upgrade rape marauders...

I honestly think hes a good player and that if he worked on using his chrono boost more that his army size wouldn seem so much lower. Look at the videos and note the energy bar over the nexus. So many times he coulda benefited from chrono boosting the nexus to recover probes faster. Its like he only has 1/4 a macro mechanic compared to terran. And I realize a lot of good protoss can't keep up with using chrono boost off multiple nexus later on but I'm talking even earlier on. Like 3-4 min in and its way up there in energy (see the game on desert oasis for example).
