Which one would you pick? I think these programers already make a lot.. to them honor is more than $$. It's not like that. 1) 10K to 20K instant cash 2) Zero change of MSL/OSL title because you are burned out and are past your prime and have a very slim chance of making it through to even the ro8.

You know, when a certain scandal in progaming was being discussed, Rekrul made a comment to the effect of: "If you guys knew the real worst scandal in gaming your heads would explode." When I read Waxangel's blog, I immediately thought "OMG THIS IS IT!" But since Rek didn't have any prior proof of it, I guess not...

Which one would you pick? I think these programers already make a lot.. to them honor is more than $$. They must have been bribed more than that. A starleague title has a $40K prize for first place iirc Yeah but you have to win the games first. Are any of the names Rek mentioned major starleague contenders?
They've all won starleagues
or do you mean in the present?

Which one would you pick? I think these programers already make a lot.. to them honor is more than $$. lol 20k is alot of money, if someone said to me 'hey you want this trophy or 20k?' id take the 20k lol During savior dominance with prize money factored in he was making like 2 mil a year in US dollars. Um? Lol yeah pretty vague memory not really sure but i swear there is a thread laying around here just about how much money savior was making.

They weren't the ones gambling. lol u have to be joking, most modern countries have tons of laws against accepting bribes to throw matches in competitions No I'm not joking I just want to understand the reasoning behind the person throwing the match to be arrested... is it that they are accomplices to gambling, and that gambling is illegal? Other than that I don't see logic behind penalties except those imposed by the sports agency. There is no such law that says "you can't throw a match".

There is a long wiki article that explains how this works and why its illegal http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Match_fixingI found it by googling "throwing a match" Yes I found that also and it doesn't answer the question.

I'm willing to bet Kingdom is 100% on that list rekrul.
I made a thread when I was in korea live-watching a game about how it was the most obvious throw of a sc pro game ever and all people did was give me shit and excuses even though it was obvious to a 1 year newbie to sc who shoulda won.

Does progaming have rules regarding matchfixing? If so then are they too afraid of the potential scandal to ban the players who are caught?

So savior isn't actually slumping, woooOoOoOoo
Unless this was awhile back and didn't happen recently
When was the timeframe of all of these fixed matches? Throughout the past years, just recently, just awhile back, or?
