I think these programers already make a lot.. to them honor is more than $$. the amounts could have been much bigger when you're as famous as savior your $ expectation is really not that much bigger than the difference between 2nd and 1st place (unless contract renegotiation time is soon). and anyways, even if you're trying your hardest you're not guaranteed to win so you can lock up free $. of course it's retarded and risky and dishonorable to take a bribe like that, but when you're a naive video game playing kid and someone is waving tens of thousands of dollars in your face...it's hard for a person to see the big picture. | ||
