EPTThen if I attempt to unplug the cord of the speakers and plug it in again, it switches back to the external speaker but for only about 1 second, the audio service shuts down. I have to manually switch it on. But the problem will just happen again.
If I get out of the game and then unplug the cord when no sound is playing, the audio service does not shut down. I plug it in again and try to play some music, the sound goes back to the external speakers. But the problem also happens again if I open the game.
I get this problem with cnc 3 but in cnc 3, I have the problem right when the game's started. I remember having this problem a few times with Skype too but it just automatically switches back to the external speakers without me doing anything.
I can play BW without any sound problems though. This make me wonder because Skype, cnc 3 and dawn of war 2 all use recording device and playback device while BW only does playback.
I have tried to reinstall the audio driver from HP but it does not help anything. So, anyone had this problem and was able to solve it?
