[H]Vent freezing when I select setup

ArvickHero 10387 Posts February 27 2010 04:19 GMT #1 Ventrilo freezes whenever I click setup so I can't bind a key for my "push to talk" button, therefore not being able to communicate with anyone at all :\ I looked this up on google and I really didn't find any help. Any solutions?

selboN United States2523 Posts February 27 2010 05:02 GMT #2 Your computer is slow. Give it time and it will unfreeze. At least that's how it has worked in my experience. When I was on my old computer, vent would freeze for about 20 seconds before I could do any set-ups. Now when I click it, it is just like clicking your start menu.

Not_Computer Canada2277 Posts February 27 2010 05:07 GMT #3 As selboN said, your computer is probably slow. While ventrilo is frozen, take a look at your system resources. Either that or have you tried reinstalling?

ArvickHero 10387 Posts February 27 2010 06:12 GMT #4 I guess my computer really sucks because I have left Vent on for at least 10 minutes after it clicking setup and its still frozen hahaha.. I've already reinstalled many times, I guess I'll just wait a little bit more lol
