I want to download BWAPI, but it says upon extraction I have to extract certain folders to my Chaoslauncher. Unfortunately, I had CL on my old laptop, but my new compie with Win7 does not have it.

I am having a fuck all time trying to DL chaoslauncher, and I've pm'd MoC for help, now I come to Blog Land.

First I go here:

And DL the 1.16.1 Version

Then I click the folder once it's done downloading. My default extractor is WinRar, and it brings up this screen:

I say fuck, and ask MoC. He says try a different extractor like 7z, so I DL 7z and try it, and I get this screen:

Why isn't this working? Has anyone with Win7 had this trouble getting CL?

Did you try using the repair function in Winrar? Sometimes it helps with these kinds of problems. You might also try downloading Chaoslauncher from a different site since TL's version might be corrupt, though I kinda doubt it.

When I need to download Chaoslauncher I just grab it from Masterofchaos' own site.

Have you tried just highlighting all the files and dragging them out? I think I had to do that with something else... though I can't remember if the file even worked after doing so....(couldn't you just use a usb or something to copy paste too?)

this is such a clusterfuck, now i get the old version downloaded into my Starcraft progam files, but when i dub click the .exe file, it does nothing ~_~

I don't want to steal this thread, but it's slightly related. I can't get anything above 10 k/b when I try to download Starcraft Mini by Monikon.

Would anyone be nice enough to download it and upload it to rapishare or somewhere?

some other question about win7 I wanted to ask someone that has already used them a while. Do you happen to have any freezes? I mean sometimes when I leave my PC open to dl a torrent after I go to my PC it just gets freezed... and I searched everywhere and yet havent found something to solve my problem.

This happened to me and others before, what seems to happen is that the download is stopped before the file is complete, so you get that error. Just keep downloading the file until you don't get that error. I've only got that error with files from MoC's site so it might be his host acting up.
