Just throwing this up to sign off on my absolute happiness at just completing nanowrimo this year. I finished maybe 10 minutes ago and I am completely elated. My word count finished at 50048, and as my story isn't actually complete, I will continue to add to it over the next few days.
After this entire process, I am extremely proud in that I can always look back on this and go "If I really want to do something, it is possible." The quality needs some improvement and I know heavy editing will be a must. But Just having an almost finished book is nice. Only about another 40-50k and I should have a complete novel that if nothing else, will say that I had the ability to write one.
I know dark carnival finished before me so congrats to him again, and for any others still writing. Happy fighting. For those not partaking in it, do so next year, It is such a good experience.

dont be proud of your book until you get really critical people to read it and tell you it doesnt suck. Seriously, friends/family might give you a false impression.

haha, Its coherent, parts of it are like, me rambling on for word count. Im still missing prob around 20-30k to complete the novel, but the actual word count i had to hit is done. As for quality. Until I get a chance to edit it a crapload of times, it will be kinda shoddy. I know a few problem areas that need some real attention, but after 28 days of this, I need a break for a few days.
