TF2: 65 @ 40% fan speed Wow 25 man raid: 75 @ 40% fan speed If you crank the fan speed it rarely goes over 65 (in the 25 man wow raid with full settings). I haven't seen it go over 75 yet regardless of what Its doing. Keep in mind this is overclocked to 780MHz (core) 1090MHz (mem). I think it defaults at 750/900? The drivers cap it off at 790/1100 . It's pretty quiet until the fan goes above 50-60%, at 100% its quite noisy though (not much louder than my CPU heatsink though).

I usually keep the fan around 30 when idle and 50 at full load, anything after that sounds like a jet-engine on take off. -shrug- As far as I'm concerned as long as its under 80 I am happy. Most cards will run fine well into the 90's, and most wont shut down until they hit 100+. I think <80 should be delicious.

Yes, you can tell theres a huge difference. Unless you can run it stable @ 30FPS your bound to start dipping. So getting it to run at 60 frames is a great anything higher you cant really tell the difference. At 60 frames you can still drop a few but you wouldnt immediately notice any lag unlike dipping into the 20s which is very noticeable.
