Normally I would never go to yard sales - it's just not my cup of tea. I'd rather be doing something else and not looking through other people's junk. On Saturday, while driving to the course to play a round of disc golf, we saw numerous signs for yard sales. Two of my friends love going to them while myself and my buddy weren't so keen on the idea. It was still early when we finished the game and on the way home, we decided to stop at a few.
I was on the lookout for a bike after mine was stolen the first week into school and needed something to get around on campus. While I didn't find a bike, we all picked up a few things at the first couple of houses - books, some hilariously lame and feminine 'welcome home' sign for a friend's apartment, a few books, and other little tidbits. One great find was a chess set with each piece working as a half shot glass as well. Every time a piece gets taken, whoever loses it has to finish the contents of the drink. When the games over, you finish the board. Can't wait to play it sometime.
But then my eyes fell upon the Sega logo. Being a Nintendo fan all of my life and never owning any Sega systems (Dreamcast, Genesis, Sega vanilla), I wasn't really interested. She saw me looking at it and offered to sell it for $14 which included three games: Nights into Dreams, Ghen War, and some sled racing game that looks like shit. So here I find myself the proud owner of a Sega Saturn and how happy I am!
+ Show Spoiler +If anyone has some games they want to get rid of, I'm in the market.

nights is SO FUN
getting the A ranks will be one of the greatest experiences of your video game life. Unfortunately the rest of the games on the console are pretty bad.

Dreamcast and Genesis have better games than Saturn. Oh well. Also, lots and lots and lots of good stuff on Saturn did not get released in the US.
Games to look for other than Nights: Guardian Heroes - epic beat-em-up indeed Panzer Dragoon (1 and 2) - good rail shooters Panzer Dragoon Saga - kind of a gaiden for the series that's more an RPG Shining Force 3 - TRPG Virtual On: Cyber Troopers - 1on1 mech arena fighter/shooter
I'm not sure how some of the ports to Saturn are, like Mega Man X4, Resident Evil, and the whole slew of fighting games (Vampire Hunter, Street Fighter Alpha 2, etc.). Virtua Fighter 1-2 are on Saturn, but they're kind of dated.

Virtua Cop is kind of fun, especially if you own the stunner gun thing. Shinobi:Legions is like my favorite game for some reason though... The BUG series is cute but hard as hell imo anddddddddd I'd also recommend Clockwork Knight
