first up some sick dubstep from Chase & Status, guys who cross over from the sea of dnb sometimes and give us sickeningly hard mechanical basslines and in this track show us how even indian music is perfect for transforming it into wicked samples
The instrumental from Big H - Re-offend; which quite frankly sounds a lot better than the vocal version
WOO WOO WOO hellish hound barking? i think so
benga here with some e trips
someone had already suggested him but I wanted to save him for this 2nd blogpost because he's real special nobody knew who he was for a long time, his favorite time of making music is when everyone's sleeping and his favorite sample is some sound of keys in some Vin Diesel movie - Burial.
And again a drum and bass superpower shows his skill in dubstep. If the name Black Sun Empire brings you powerful feelings of musical ecstacy you might wanna check this out
A sick remix of kosheen - guilty done by Plastician, the dubstep alias of Plastic man
Here's another version of the song Plastician - Japan that I posted in my first dubstepblog
AND as a little bonus for DnB lovers- here's the myspace of a liquid/funk dnb producer from Belgium. I guarantee that you'll love his tunes. http://www.myspace.com/netskymusic
Xeo, have you heard the newer Hyperdub material, or any Nero UK?
Newer dubstep is really crossing genres and boundaries these days. Jack Beats- UFO is a cross-genre fidget house dubstep masterpiece, if you're interested.
Nice to see someone else on this forum into this stuff.
according to youtube quoting wiki, this is beyonce sample warped to sound like a dude crazy
Can't believe i missed another dubstep thread by xeo, Still bumping that stuff from the OG thread. Found some stuff of my own in the genre I liked too. Thanks again.
man I love that BSE track, BSE is so good I heard about them like 6 years ago? Any other good new stuff from them?
PS- Wow I dl'd the song from youtube and played in VLC while the youtube was running and It's like I had turntables there with 2 records, Any way that I overlapped them it sounded awesome.
Glad to see this being bumped! I haven't really been able to check out new stuff lately but I do know that Nero is a total badass. I'll check out the names you posted!
And yeah, BSE have basstunes that come from deep space or something
PS- What's with the constant arguing on YT about where dubstep came from or if it is a genre or if it is evolving. Who gives a shit, why does that even matter? Darkstep, dub step?
