why do you write like a poem

The last time this happened to me it was because my laptop was overheating because there was dust. I took a can of compressed air and blew the dust out and it works fine now. I don't know if this will help. Also, did you install any drivers lately? If you did that might be the problem.

Start > Control Panel > System > Advanced Tab > Under Startup and Recovery click Settings.
Un-check Automatically restart, and now you should be able to read the Blue screen of DEAD!!!! Give us the info and we will probably not be able to fix it. As most of the time when a BSOD keeps popping up it just means your laptop is fucking screwed.
Note: + Show Spoiler +Portable PC is very portable, only problem is a screen.

YO i had the exact same problem except i use XP. I had to get a new processor so might be the same thing for you :O

Get Knoppix on a CD, then boot off of the CD (I think the key is F2 or F5 at start-up). If this doesn't work you're fucked and need help in person. If it works then you can fix whatever is fucking it up, so post if you get this far.

How is he supposed to get to Control Panel if his computer blue screens on startup?
Though, thanks for the reminder that I need to change that setting.

There was an update that was breaking computers. If you can get your computer to get to the regular startup screen with advanced options then you should be okay.

Press F8 before Windows starts loading and find "Disable Automatic Restart on Errors" or something like that from the menu. Also check BIOS setup for "Halt on errors".
edit: ah you got into safe mode already.
