I'm going to make this short
As I'm writing this blog I don't know what the fuck I'm gonna do with my life. I don't even know what I'm doing now. I have no job and all I do is stay on my computer, game, and get high. Very.....productive.
First I was kicked out of uni but I can always come back after taking community college and getting good grades (which I am).
But after I go back to university, then what? I am considering business but would I really like it? To me, nothing in school seems to interest me...I honestly do not know what I could do.
I have had thoughts of making music (hip-hop beats) but I don't really know where to start. It's also not like I am going to be guaranteed any success.
I feel like I'm lost.
My first goal will definitely be to find a job and get some damn job experience.

talking to my friends and listening to music.
yes i know, my life is boring :/

if you can make money out of hip hop thats definately a plus but you can always do that on the side in your spare time, if you are really passionate about it.
i do business as well, not sure if im going to do accounting or economics yet, but its not too bad. i didnt find anything interesting in tertiary education either but thats life lol. i cant think of many jobs that would be fun barring music

One thing I've learned is that you can get interested in almost anything. I've found that time and time again I've gotten really interested in learning more about the most random things I've studied at school.
There is something interesting to everything basically. Also, do like VegeTerran said and ask yourself what makes you happy.

honestly i believe that first you need to stop fearing that you may fail at whatever it is you do, and simply do it. jump in head first into any ONE thing that tickles your fancy and by jumping in head first i mean invest as much free time as is productive into whatever it is you choose. as you learn more about the subject and become more invested in it you will learn to really enjoy it as long as you keep evolving.
we obviously do not know enough about your life and interests to give you an accurate answer, so we resort to guide lines, and I hope they help.

it's not what you know, it's who you know. just go to school and try to network your way into something lucrative.

Cool bro. Mind sharing your myspace or something? ^_^ I've been doing that for the last 6 moths now. How much $ is a decent beat there?

Been where you're at and it's not easy. You know you want to make something out of your life but you dont know what.
And if you're into music, why not go to school to become a producer or something like that? If you really put your heart into it you can become something big and make a shitload of cash!

Eh I'm the same. In a business course (banking) but I don't like it. This one's for a diploma and it's not my passion.
My passion is StarCraft. I have no idea what I'm going to do about it besides setting up a LAN shop in Singapore and hosting tourneys.

I'm pretty sure everyone has tried to make a few beats on fruity loops or mario paint or whatever, just like 10 years ago everyone wanted to be a DJ. it's not really something you would want to get into imo. 1 everyone and their mom are trying to make beats, and its not as easy as it seems. 2 you need to invest into better equipment than just some pirated software on the internet. You gotta fork out some dough for MPCs/ SP 1200 etc. 3 you have to really dedicate some (all of your free) time to crate digging / loop hunting and then tweaking and shit to make a beat perfect. 4 I have no idea how much beats sell for, and you may not even sell any anyways. It's not something that just all the sudden makes you money unless you are a natural pro right from the start. It takes time and networking to get into this kind of business (and I don't mean myspace, you gotta go to shows and stuff and just get recognized). Pretty sure RJD2, Jel, Sixtoo, Blueprint or whoever had been making beats and been in the hip hop world for years and years since they were in their teens.
I'm sure this post is really negative sounding but it's true, like most things in life you have to just dedicate yourself to something and network and years later it will pay off. nothin is free (/me thinks of sole & skyrider song titled that)

If business / academia don't appeal to you, get a job working with your hands. You can make as much, if not more money, and may find it more rewarding.

I'm hoping Starcraft 2 opens up more job opportunities. Until then I'm just kind of biding my time.
I'm 22 without a degree and not sure what I'm going to do with my life. Maybe by magic an awesome esports job will reveal itself.
Until then, WE'RE ON THE SAME BOAT BRAH
