This was mentioned in a Starcraft Weekly vod by Artosis. He gave credit to a European Terran I think. Nifty trick.

Yeah if you use m move with your medics they won't waste energy on healing the plagued ones.

Plagued marines always get their hp to red, no matter how good your medic is, thus wasting medic energy for nothing. And then finally no energy out for later battles. That's the 2nd strong point about plague. Couldn't watch artosis vods sorry cauz i'm deaf. Would have been really helpful if there were sub but we can't please everybody eh ?
Pretty neat trick though.

If i remember correctly, plague does 300 damage or something similar. In a perfect scenario, medic would have to spend like 150+ energy to finally be able to recover the marine. It's huge.

Does right-clicking work the same?

I dont understand, did you just learn that if you order your medics to move - they move, and if you tell them to attack-move, they heal friendly units? Or is there some other trick hidden - Im not trolling, I cant find the vod and have no idea what happened.

cool, I knew of the method but didn't think to apply it in this way. I think some use the same method to get arbiters to follow the protoss army around and have it not attack anything. you can make anything follow without doing it's normal actions like acquiring targets using this method, it's like a "force follow." wonder if there's any other applications for this?

Just select all ur medics from your group and press M then click a marine, or a vessels, or a building. They will simply follow them without healing the marines around. Don't forget to make them heal again once the plague goes off (type stop, hold, patrol, or a-move whatever). Read my blog again, it tells you when and which game to look (highlander xiaozi vs idra game 2)

Restoration = 50 energy cost. The trick i mentionned : 0 energy cost. See what i mean ?
