Hi guys!
So I'm using Rage's livestream tutorial and everything is going to plan - I have followed all directions. I have yet to test the stream but there is a problem: everytime I record or try to set it up, my sound mutes and the only way to fix this is to restart my computer.
What is causing this? I muted audio when recording so it only shows me playing, but that did not seem to fix the problem.
EDIT: There are also several problems:
1) I use Vista
2) Everytime I set it to start recording on Camtasia, the green button flickers to green/red/green/red continuously.
I can't use some keys like "L" or "D" when the recording session is on.

The L and D is a camtasia problem most likely. You have to change your hot keys. Camtasia has master hot keys which over ride everything else so you put them like Shift+L or something not used too much like F12. Just changing those hot keys should fix that.
About the muting ionno i never tried to set up a live stream.

Yes! I got that part down. I didn't see it in the hotkey part.
Stupid me.
Now there is one more problem: RESOLUTION:

Why is it soooooo small -_- :/
I did as rage said, and the custom resolution I set on Camtasia won't get any bigger than 640x480 or whatever.
|
Camtasia shouldn't be over 640x480 as that's as big as SC gets. So that is what camtasia sends to i guess you are using that flash broadcasting thing. Then it's what ever the flash broadcasting thing sends that is the size for livestream. Ionno looks okay to me
|
It lookay? Hm, thats weird because my friend who I am talking to says its a bit small
|
Would have to see it relative to something.
|
|
Ionno but max rez for free users is only 480x360 so obv it looks small.
|
Mine is registered, so I was able to set the resolution (in Camtasia) to 640x480.
|
Everything is on 640x480 btw~
|
You're gonna stream us playing Faith n Destiny right ?
|
Yeah the only problem at this point is resolution.

What makes you say so? Elaborate! I must know all the details :D

I set up a livestream 480x360 as out put it seemed fine in put was 640x480 played a 30 min game against a comp to warm up my hands my slow decrepit hands. Seemed fine. 640x480 input 480x360 output. Also hated that site so much it kept tapping audio from my webcam in the beginning.
