Aw, so close. I live in Fredericton, New Brunswick. -_- There's gotta be some players in Halifax, but I doubt you'll find anyone else in Saint John.

I live in Halifax. Im originally from Moncton, NB but living in Halifax for school. Its good times.
I dunno exactly places to go visit, depending on what you're into.. but the first thing my dad wanted to do when coming to Halifax, was goto "Bubbles Mansion" which if you watch the Trailor Park Boys, Bubbles from TPBs owns a resturant that is in downtown Halifax, which has abunch of the stuff from the show hanging on the walls (like his Go kart, a replica? of his shed, etc) and tons of pictures of him.. Its a really cool place.
Theres tons of stufff but I can't really think of much since its all really standard tourist crap.
Nova Scotia is great, but deep down inside Im still a NB Fanboy, its like Nova Scotia with less crime and less traditional/folk music, at an expense of more french people.. lol

Why would you take a cruise to those places? Probably the lamest travel destinations in the world. Maybe I just think that because I am Canadian, but I couldnt imagine what there is to do in New Brunswick or Nova Scotia that you cant do at home.

When are you arriving in New Brunswick? How long are you staying. Who is the SCC- member that you are meeting? Perhaps, I can come down.

I think most people that go on this cruise do it because it's a nice summer destination conveniently launched out of NYC and they want an excuse to go on a cruise. I personally have always wanted to visit up there just to see what it's like. Don't ask me why lol.

Yaqoob where do you live in NB?

If you're in Nova Scotia for a prolonged period of time and decide to take the CAT to Bar Harbor, let me know. I lived there for ~6 years and live an hour away so meeting you there wouldn't be a problem.
