I'd never played in the snow before (gasp!) and really underestimated how long it would take. I think the whole scene took between two and three hours. Originally, I had a very extensive scene planned, with a mineral line full of drones and a hatchery. I even had an idea for a shuttle, but couldn't come up with a secure way of having the shuttle float above it all. The best idea I had was to place the scene next to a tree and have the shuttle sort of sticking out of it, maybe packing the snow around a low branch. But alas, my dream would've taken all day. The good news is that the reaver lasted for days! It even held human weight! I stood on it hahaha. I do have bigger aspirations for next winter. Not sure what I'll do, but it'll be epic, for sure. | ||
