I found this semester to be a lot harder though.....  Time to enjoy the summer  Going to try to get a job while attending summer school for the next two months! But the thing with shitty jobs is those usually have fewer vacation days as well, because blue collar jobs are an absolute necessity and the condition of the workers is often ignored. They may not be as mentally/psychologically taxing (to me at least) as I imagine teaching would, but it's hard to ignore physical exhaustion and overtime hours, and teachers have looong breaks, weekends, and holidays when all they really have to do is grade homework/tests or make up new assignments from the comfort of their home. | ||

Who brought teaching into this? Well... you I guess. Also, while I agree with many of your points about blue collar jobs, I think your generalizations about teaching aren't quite accurate. Teaching just isn't what you think it is until you do it. | ||
