Wait a minute so what happened to all those people before the time of Christ etc. Or the people before Moses, or during the Ice Age.

@ op:
that's a kiddie question. if you look at religion like this you're not going to get anything out of it. if you take such a sophisticated text as the bible at face value it has to sound stupid. it's like dismissing a novel as rubbish by saying "it's not realistic" or a scientific text by saying "it's boring".
as long as you look at religion like this just don't bother with it/talking about it. nobody forces you to believe, and if you run into people that tell you that you won't go to heaven if you don't believe in god just don't take them seriously. it's stupid and you can't argue with them anyway. just remember that judging something you don't understand is stupid too.

Allow me to put in the tl;dr

So don't question religion. And don't interpret the holy book based on what is written in it. You stoopid for doing so.

Don't share your analysis and questions, theists don't want to hear it. You stoopiiid for doing so.
Wow fabulous water tight arguments. I wish i could end all debates with "you stooopiiid"

Since the earth is only 6000 years old the people who lived in north and south america, europe, asia, africa "before God was introduced" are people who abandoned god in favor for human lust when humans was thrown out of the garden of eden.

do question religion and do share your analysis and questions, but put more effort into it and study harder before you criticise. I'm not a theist. I'm not even what people call religious myself.

Basically whatever you want to believe.

Surely one's vision of heaven can be other's vision of hell and vice versa.
One of interesting quotes from Tibetan Book of the Dead suggests that when you die entities come whose job it is to dismantle your ego -- what makes you the person who you are. If you are ready for them, they appear as angels but if you struggle they seem to be demons.

This is why only Pastafarianism makes sense. In the beginning, there was a mountain, some trees, and a midget. At least we're logical.

But I lost it, and now, I wanna read it again. Is it the Divine Comedy?
Yeah, part one of the Comedy, Inferno.
