Plan B is a pill the female takes which contains a large amount of hormones that quickly act in hopes of preventing the egg from implanting into the uterus. It is not an abortion pill. Plan B is the same as "emergency contraception" then. At least the dictionary says it.. ._.! Yes it is the same.

He asked what plan B was and I answered him. What is your problem?

Plan B should work if it is taken within 72 hours of the condom breaking and semen entering her uterus, the later you take it within that 72 hours the less chance of it taking effect, it will not work after 72 hours. Also, you can take a peestick pregnancy test after 7days of conception, or wait 11days to do the peestick. The peekit from the pharmacy or whereever you buy from is generally accurate if instructions are followed correctly and the urine is not contaminated by other things such as tap water/cleaning detergent (if the "cup" she urinated in has just been cleaned etc). IF she tests positive on the peestick test, you can both go to the local GP so she can get a blood test which will definitively show whether or not she is pregnant. It measures the hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin hormone) levels in the blood, IF she is pregnant hCG levels are in the 50-100+ mIU/ml, hCG under 5 mIU/ml is not pregnant. In general the hCG levels will double every 48-72 hours. The level will reach its peak in the first 8 - 11 weeks of pregnancy and then will decline and level off for the remainder of the pregnancy. hCG is made by cells that form the placenta, which nourishes the egg after it has been fertilized and becomes attached to the uterine wall. All you and your partner can do is wait for her period to come for this month after trying the above. addit: Also, I think she should go on the regular pill thats taken daily and for you to buy more durable condoms (maybe don't get thin condoms if thats what you use) don't buy them cheap. Make sure she doen't worry about it worrying increases stress which can make her period become late. Stress, weight loss, increased exercise, diet changes, anemia are some things that can cause late periods. BTW IF she is pregnant you have other options like keeping it, adoption, abortion. BUT you will need to stick it out with her every step of the way. Don't be a bastard and let her deal with it on her own.

1) a missed period (DUH): this may take several weeks to know whether your period is just late or if you've missed it completely; and you won't have another period until after the child is born -could also be a result of tension, stress, changes in birth control (pills or injections), excessive gain/loss of weight, fatigue 2) constant tiredness or fatigue: its a result of the pregnancy hormones pumping through your body, usually appears 1-6 weeks after conception -could also be a result of tension, stress, depression, poor diet, flu, lack of exercist, poor sleep, or lack of sleep 3) Nausea or Queasyness: "morning sickness", though it can occur anytime during the day or night; again, as a result of those happy pregnancy hormones, usually occurs 2-8 weeks after conception -could also be a result of food poisoning, tension, infection, gall bladder problems, flu, or other problems 4) frequent need to pee: especially as the baby grows, your bladder is pushed down upon and you need to pee more and more frequently; its also a result of those happy pregnancy hormones, usually occurs 6-8 weeks after conception -could also be a result of urinary tract infections, drinking diuretics (things that dehydrate you, sodas for example), tension, diabetes, or drinking of excess fluids 5) painful breasts: sore/swollen, like one would get right before their period, except worse; usually occurs 1-2 weeks after conception -could also be a result of bodily adjustments to birth control pills, begining of your period, or fibrocystic breast conditions 6) darkening of the nipple: breasts are for breast feeding, so they're gonna go through some changes; usually begining 1-14 weeks after conception -could also be a result of a hormonal imbalance (birth control pills or other) 7) bleeding or "spotting": blood is usually pink or brown, its a result of the egg implanting; occurs about a week or so after ovulation -could also be a result of the begining of your period, or body adjustments to starting some method of birth control 8) backaches/headaches: can start within a few days of conception -could also be a result of dehydration, caffine withdrawl, back problems, mental stains, eye strain, or other problems. 9) food cravings: usually last the entire pregnancy, but specifically in the first trimester -could also be a result of poor diet, stress, depression, or imminent menstration 10) mood swings: results from the sudden change in hormones -could also be a result of hormone level changes from starting/stopping birth control, PMS, or other new medications 11) increased vaginal discharge: could be a change in the amount, to consistency, to color -could also be a result of yeast or other vaginal infections, or imminent menstration

been here before hahaha it fucking sucks but there's not much you can really do =/ (above what you've already done) although you'd have to be pretty unlucky for her to get pregnant anyway, i know how paranoid girls can get about this shit anyway.. making sure she knows she'll still have you around even if shit happens will probably help (even if you dont want to stay)

Not to say it can't happen, but chance should decrease. Relax mate, if your gf gets pregnant because of that you will be the most unlucky bastard ever, usually those types of things don't happen like that, it takes a lot more effort and countless hours of sex w/o condom or pills...
