skip the first 2:40 also + Show Spoiler + The metaphor about the girl being a freezer. Not sure if he meant like she gives the cold shoulder or that she holds a lot of meat (which would be opposite meanings). If he meant both then that's pretty cool. not a song but a good battle and beat nonetheless

Let me just say this: CharlieMurphy, you are a fucking snob. Shit is popular because it is good usually. When shit sucks, people don't listen to it. Make sense? Just because everyone doesn't share your EXQUISITE taste in hip hop doesn't mean they're retards with no sense of "real hip hop" or whatever the fuck you're going to call it. I got to about page 6 before getting completely fed up with everything you were saying.

Dude, he knows his shit, no, shit isn't popular because its good, but its because 12 years olds think its cool talking about marco polo and shit.

How can you generalize like that? "SHIT ISN'T POPULAR BECAUSE IT'S GOOD". Are you serious? You think every single hit out there is just complete shit that is only listened to by 12 year olds with no musical taste? You guys need to get the sticks out of your ass and recognize that something can be popular and good at the same time. I like both "mainstream" and "underground" rap/hip hop, not one over the other for any particular reason. I'll recognize stuff like Soulja Boy is terrible, but I'm also saying a lot of the so called "underground" stuff posted in this thread isn't much better imo. I'll know a good song when I hear it, not when I determine that the artist has "sold out" because they're semi-popular and get airtime.
