This is a new router I got, all excited that it would be awesome. It IS awesome except I can't seem to forward my ports.
I followed the instructions Here and I made a static IP address. I have my DNS servers for the static IP address, and I made sure its a static IP address and not a dynamic one. I changed it to "use the following IP address" instead of "obtain IP address automatically" When I go to try to change my port settings though, at my router homepage, I can't do anything.
There are some pictures that might help. I really need help to play starcraft! I can't wait for sc2 >_>
Despite "forwarding" my ports, they are still closed/down.

Did you pull out the plug, and put it back in?
does that do anything?
I use windows firewall. I already tried with it on/off so it's not a problem.
I see your problem. Your Start IP Address is 101 and you have your Applications and Games as 102. Change that to 101, that is if your last 3 digits in the IP is 101.
I hope those are movie trailers on your desktop btw.
I have sameish router, never bothered making static IP. I check my connection display to get my IP then I just forward 6112 in single port forward and 6112-6119 in range port forward for it to work.
I changed my static IP and the address's all to match 101 and it still doesnt work. Also they are full movies O_o
All Hail aXXo!

Im getting confused on which one I need to find >_>
It'll most likely be the last 3 digits of the numerous numbers that will appear. I'm not a computer wizz sorry. I just can't explain it in technical terms.
what? Im sorry but you gotta break that down even further
Basically the last 3 digits of your Start IP Address in the Setup page and the last 3 digits of To IP Address in your Applications and Gaming must be the same.
okok they are both the same. I made sure they are both "192.168.1.101"
still fails
