This morning my father had what they're assuming is a seizure while he was in his office at work. Right now he's in intensive care at the hospital and they're doing tests and whatnot. So far they have no idea what caused it and they're keeping him overnight and I'm gonna go back in the morning to see if there's any news.
I don't want to even try to sleep because I know as soon as I close my eyes I won't be able to stop thinking about him lying on that bed with that tube down his throat. i need to stay distracted so I'm teamliquid blogging.
Well, anyway, while I was in the waiting room I was messing with his blackberry and I think it's security feature deleted everything on it because I was messing around trying to guess the password. So now I'm blown that he's unwell and pissed off at myself because there's probably important information(contacts, emails) on there. It won't even turn back on now so I don't know what's up with it.
That's pretty much all I have for now, I'd appreciate some suggestions for something to keep my attention if you can think of anything.

I lost my dad last summer. It's pretty shitty alright (car accident, couldn't do a thing). I suggest staying as positive as possible.
But honestly though, it really doesn't sound fatal from your description. A seizure is one thing, but if it was like a stroke or a heart attack, now that is something different. I know it's hard not to think about it, but just try to be optimistic (positive feelings are much better than negative).
Lol and when he gets out of the hospital, I think he will be so happy that he won't give a shit about the blackberry. Not to mention, to change the password I don't believe deletes everything (though I don't have a blackberry), it's probably just hidden somewhere else in the blackberry.
Try your best to relax

just relax. keep positive : )

Hope it turns out OK for him!
p.s. you sure the BlackBerry's battery isn't just dead? Mine has a lockout feature (for increasing time periods) if you type the password in wrong, but it shouldn't delete anything.

All the best from me, my man. Just hang in there. I hope everything will work out for you.
Yeah, try to be optimistic as Resonance said and don't worry about the Blackberry, you'll figure something out as soon as your dad's fine again.

Be strong man! your father will be alright . dont worry.

Don't have to sleep, go sit in the hospital 24/7. I've done it, when its family most doctors respect the fact that you don't give a shit what the words "visiting hours" mean.
