SC2 is coming up and for some reason I feel it will be the total and permanent replacement of our beloved broodwar. It is looking like a really awesome game and will pretty much have a lot of potential in its competitive aspect.
When I started out playing StarCraft, I did it because I wanted to be serious about it and have been ever since. It's been a little more than a year since then and I can say that it has been truly worth it, and a really fun experience as well.
But for some reason I just feel that when I switch to StarCraft 2, I will be a complete and stupid noob at it, that all the time I spent on playing broodwar was just a waste of time and since we're all going to be starting the race to the top on the same line, I pressure myself a lot because of it (because I want to achieve something, or at least be good at it).
It's driving me crazy! But the worst part is the following: I consider myself too old to start all over again =[ I'm 19 years old and the gaming scene seems to be getting owned by younger people nowadays.
I just don't know what I'm going to do, I don't know if it'll be really worth it to switch to SC2, what if it becomes like WC3 and I get trapped inside that world? Sigh.
imagine me thats 24 then
