I THINK it was on the SNES, and i played it on JAL airlines a long time ago. Super Bonk. Super Bonk 2 has been translated too, quite fun.

You could choose between a red spread shot and a blue concentrated shot, you could get little orbiting satellite things, and you could buy upgrades and stuff, I think. The ships had a sort of beveled look to them, and the levels were set on a black space-and-stars background. I also think it was an insert in PC gamer or something. I can't remember the name for the life of me, and I was wondering if anyone knew what I was talking about. This sounds like stargun or stargunner to me.

And I don't remember too much else about it =( Was quite some time ago. Edit: Depending when I played it, it might have been for Mac actually.

That sounds a lot like Heroes of Might and Magic, anywhere from number one to three. Then again, it could probably be a million other games too. Look up Warlords (one or two) as well.

The two pieces have two attacks and the goal is to bring their health down to zero, obviously. I do remember the casters being able to summon elementals or something like that onto the board to battle. Anything else is lost in my memory. Oh yes, the evil side had some sort of shape shifter as well that became the mirror image of whatever piece it was battling. Archon (again lol) ?

It's probably "Wings of Fury", but that's not originally a PC game, so you've probably played a ported version.

It was a soccer game for some sort of Nintendo IIRC where you could only play as Japan. You controlled one guy the rest was on AI. Each of your players as well the opposing teams had a special super shot, like transforming the ball into something. The whole game was really cartoonish with all sorts of funny stuff (on certain fields lightning would randomly strike players, or a tornado blow them off the field, or idle players sinking in the mud etc.) The game consisted of 2 phases, first you could play 4 teams of each 4 regions (something like Asia, Africa, America, Europe) and if you have won enough games, you got to the world cup. Could somebody help me find it? I used to have this game on a console thing but it doesn't work anymore. Nintendo World Cup Now there is Mario Strikers Charged for Wii that is almost the same gameplay-wise
