I've been thinking alot about getting my SC in shape but i'm a little worse than the worst players on ICCUP last time i checked, just changed race to zerg and would rather much not like to get raped 20x in a row untill i win a game. Basically i would love to find a practice partner that's about the same level as i am, so if anyone has the same mindset as me and thinks they're in the same range plz be in touch. my msn is gunni at techno dot is and i'm on IRCnet as PrinceValium and Quakenet as Gunni_M

So couldn\'t we just make like 50 email addresses and increase the chance of getting a key ;D

Same, could someone that grabbed a WOTLK beta key from the previous Blizzcon explain the process please?

- Go to http://www.blizzcon.com/beta - Enter the second code beneath the scratch-off area below and follow the online instructions. That would mean that the key is certainly inputted at that address sometime after November 13. Whether or not people without a key will also be able to apply there in a lottery format, I don't know, but that site is definitely at least for inputting the Blizzcon keys.

Even though I enabled that I didn't get in, so I assume that's the lottery method. The only way I know of that's similar to this is if you make an account on the blizzard store, there's a beta opt-in option, so I urge everyone on TL to make an account there and enable that, because if that's the way they do the lottery everyone on TL should do it It's good to register an account there anyways and register your starcraft cd key to it, because then you can legally download a copy of broodwar from your account in that site for free.

Im gonna get all my relatives to register too, and friends, so I'll have many chances. I got the Warcraft 3 beta's, and was top 30 in TFT's ladder, so I got the WOW beta's for free by being on Blizzard's "friends" list, so hopefully they will send me a SC2 beta also. Im hoping!

Also you should remember that beta may vary quite a lot from the actual thing (which was the case in WC3 for example).

Sure it would be nice but it's not something that's gonna have huge impact on your play when the actual product is released. Sure you will be at an advantage for a short period of time but that's it, no more than a month into final version and all of your advantage is no more. Also you should remember that beta may vary quite a lot from the actual thing (which was the case in WC3 for example). qft. I really agree this.

Whether or not you guys are correct, I am certain if I didn't have a key I would be wanting to think the same thing.
