The game will start friday and I'll be shooting for 10-11pm CST. I'm going to give out roles a day ahead of time also.
Also, I'm going to change the 'rounded down' comment to 'rounded up' this game. So mafia will still have 5 hits after losing one member this time around.

oops, 7 days then.I was thinking mafia only needed to kill 21 townies (become more than half of town) instead of 31 (outnumber town). My bad. 31/5= 6.2.

uhm? if town kills no mafia, then 6 townies die every day (5 killed by mafia, 1 by town), so after 5 days 30 townies are killed and only 10 remain, along with 10 mafia -> mafia win

Maybe thats how I came up with the 5 days. I should show my work - so I wouldn't forget how I came to the conclusion. But Mafia has to outnumber town not equal - so I was wrong none the less. so 6 days. Suicide bomber, Jacks, Mad Hatters, and vigilantes makes it unpredictable anyways.

Day/night 1: 1 - Town lynches innocent 5 - mafia kills 5 town 6 - dead on first day/night

Day/night 3: 1 – town lynches another townie 5 – mafia kills another 5 8 - 3 paramedics and 2 jacks all protect one person and mafia happens to use a suicide bomber on him and the two jacks happened to place bombs on townies on the first day. 4 – mafia happens to kill 2 mad hatters, who both have already placed both bombs on townies. 18 – dead on third day/night Total: 35 dead townies, but 1 suicide bomber died so its 9 to 5 and mafia wins!

I think this game town will win, the townspeople are just getting too good at figuring out clues. Particularly this forum of intelligent people who probably spend more time on the internet than most, including me.
Although looking at the numbers this game seems a wee bit in favor of mafia to me. I'll give you guys some numbers I compiled so you can decide for yourself.

Townie with role 40% v 30%( around depending if mafia pardoner counts.)

Even with a good townie giving misdirection, mafia still have the element of confusion on their side. It's gonna hurt with no Mayor/Pardoner/BG this time because there can be NO mistakes on votes and Detectives can't just PM the Mayor/Pardoner for prot.

Hopefully more townies step up on the clue front this game. I know last game had a kind of inclusive power ring, with most of town feeling like they were just awaiting orders. That system won't work this time, though. All of the mafia this time around already know who the active clue interpretors were last time, so those who took an active, noticable role will be likely early targets this game.
On top of that, with the mayor/bodyguard system gone, we have no way of verifying the security of a matter when someone says "vote to lynch X". So, townies are going to have to draw their own conclusions, because the mafia aren't going to sit around letting just a few vocal townies live like they did last game. The best counter town has to that is to make sure that all of the town is active; they can't silence every voice at once if the whole town is talking.
