Unfortunately, I still happen to live with my mother and she isn't happy about it at all. I told her about a week and a half ago that I was gonna get it done eventually whether she wanted me to or not. I showed her after I got it(I'd rather be straight up honest then her find out later) and she's been really quiet/upset ever since. Normally, I wouldn't give a shit and I'd just go on with my life...but there's something different that's making me a bit depressed about it. I have no intention of taking it out and wasting that money, but I really don't want my mother mad at me for the next few weeks.

It isn't the exact same situation, but the point is still valid.

I have a friend who has one and her speech is fine, but she's had it for close to a year now. Edit: To Archaic...It's not coming out. Made that clear in the first post.

i used to have an earing a long time ago (year5, about 11years old i think? 10-11) and i dont wear it anymore because my high school doesnt allow piercings, hair dye or 'extreme' styles (including a number 2... =/) so i had to take it out and i havent been bothered to put it back in. oh yeah, do you have to use that spray stuff?

Thanks. And no, I don't have any spray stuff. Just some mouth wash, that is really just salt water with food colouring.
