Well after reading nAI.PrOtOsS's blog "Creating Your Own Dream?" http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?topic_id=77853
and after I remembered/posted the site that teaches people to lucid dream. http://www.ld4all.com/ (I realize now nAI.PrOtOsS didn't actually have a lucid dream )
I decided I wanted to finally train myself to do this. According to that site the first thing someone should do is be able to recall dreams very vividly. So until I can get to the point that I can recall around 2 dreams a night, I'll start writing them here and hopefully some others will be able to share and discuss theirs
Anyways, I started on this quest last night, and it seems just the act of wanting to record my dreams made it easier for me to remember at least one dream (usually I only remember like one dream every 2 weeks to a month).
Anyways, the dream I had involved me being homeless scrounging for food behind a Noah's Bagels. Apparently everyone I knew in my life had died somehow that I was unsure of. Eventually I managed to find a bag of fresh bagels and began to eat them. Later on a black shaggy puppy with a limp came by and I fed him part of my bagel, afterward he began following me around for like...the rest of the dream. After this part everything becomes harder to remember. Somehow I recall creating a business of selling pistachios and using the money to build an animal shelter.
So yeah, that's it. If there's any interest at all, I'll start updating this blog with new events/dreams on my journey to lucidity.
Poll: Are you gonna try to learn to lucid dream with me? (Vote): ....no (Vote): Sure! and I might even share some dreams/events here! (Vote): Sure, but I ain't sharing anything here. (Vote): I already can lucid dream.

In my dream last night, I was trying to build a temple with a bunch of small dirty men in loinclothes. Every time we tried to put in foundations, the sand would shift and eat the bricks. That's all I remember

I tried to remember my dreams last night. I don't remember them vividly but I definitely remembered more than I normally do. I'm keeping track as well.

i think i'm going to try this too. sounds like fun :D

I have a text document with all my recurring/vivid dreams written in it. Just a few keywords/sentences and it's usually easy enough to recall the full details. Some of them are completely whack, others could be mistaken for me living my real life.

This sounds very interesting, go for it.

Alright new day new dream. This one wasn't as vivid as last night, but it's actually pretty rare that I remember any dream 2 nights in a row, so I guess this is good
Anyways, in my dream I was in a bus where a homeless woman was begging me for money. I gave her some and then she started talking to me about God and Jesus and all that for the rest of a pretty long trip. Then I got off the bus and was on some plaza where some kids were staging a protest...I forgot what it was about though, but they seemed pretty intent on achieving whatever it was they wanted since they all seemed very angry and loud and were smashing shit all around.
Then my dad picked me up in his van and we drove down to the ferry building where we stopped at a stop light and my dad started bitching about the long line of people who were crossing on the crosswalk.
and that's about it.

so, do you see any correlation between your dreams and stuff that you experienced the day/night before?

Well the day before the first dream I posted I had bagels for breakfast, and yesterday (the day before I posted this last post) my dad was talking about taking the ferry to San Francisco.
So sort of, but not any major correlations that I can figure out right now.

So I've been doing this for a while and while I can't lucid dream on will, but I've managed to do it on accident a few times.
Unfortunately the problem with being able to remember my dreams so vividly is now I'm getting to the point where I'm starting to confuse some of my dreams with real life. For example I had a dream that I was having a conversation with my dad and two of my uncles about where we'd spend Christmas and what food I'd be making/bringing, I brought this conversation up again only to remember (after they had informed me that we never talked about Christmas) that I only dreamed it.
That's one example, but shit like this has been happening for a while now and it's starting to annoy me.

The only real skill I have is that I can wake myself up at any time from a dream. I don't dream very often anyway and it's not like it's useful.
Lucid dreaming doesn't sound like it's useful either.
