Russia started WW2 alongside the Nazis in order to expand the Russian empire and enslave Eastern Europe and the only thing that has changed since then is their vision for their colonies and the world they're building has gotten worse. If Russia could just act like a normal fucking country for a few years then people would let it go but it literally can't. It never broke out of the 19th century mindset and is desperately trying to cling onto an empire that has ceased to be relevant. And Europeans almost eradicated all natives in North America. Brutalized Africa and South East Asia. Your nation is one of the worst of all. It doesn't matter. It's no reason not to find a diplomatic solution. If Western nations can be allies with Saudi Arabia, then they can talk to Russia.

And if the United States was presently engaged in a brutal conquest of Mexico due to spheres of influence you'd have a point. I'm not saying that the 19th century wasn't filled with shitty empires. I'm saying that Russia is the only place stuck there. Whataboutalltheother19thcenturyempires doesn't work when only Russia is still doing this shit today. Nobody else is playing this game anymore, just Russia, the country that has always been the slowest kid in the class. Everyone else has recognized that the lines on the map matter far less than the exchange of culture and goods.

The difference between Saudi Arabia and Russia is that the former isn't invading our neighbours and the latter talks about how they want to invade us regularly. If Russia wants peace is very easy, they can leave Ukraine and go home and you will have peace tomorrow. Until they do we will happily support Ukraine's right to defend itself from a hostile invader bent on genocide.

Your nation is sending a shitton of weapons to Israel RIGHT NOW, where civilians are being slaughtered in huge numbers. It is not at all "only Russia" in this century. That is such a bullshit excuse. The US will find another reason for another war in the future. And it will make excuses for it, just like Russia made excuses for this war.

No. Just another Russian "whatabout".

Hell, the Soviet Union is pretty fucking responsible for it due to their deliberate creation of groups like PFLP. The problem with trying to explain this to you is that your stupid fucking Russian brain can't understand that Israel isn't actually a colony of the United States because the only international relationships that Russians can understand are the kind between East Germany and the USSR, Belarus and Russia, and the US and Russia. The idea that Israel might have its own foreign policy that directly conflicts with US interests while still being nominally a US ally doesn't make sense to you. To Russians all nations are either an adversary or a slave, there is nothing else.

Because of the vile things you believe. Because of the vile things you do. There's a reason that the Ukrainians, like literally everyone else who has ever lived under Russian rule, would rather die than do so again. It's not everyone else, it's you. It always has been. And until you recognize that your culture and psyche are diseased it always will be.

Because I will say this. I think your geo-political views are dangerous and heinous. I do not want you dead, much less horrifically so.

My only bias is one that seeks a path towards preventing war without diminishing the worthiness of any group of people. He was elected by a parliament with a strong mandate to sign the trade agreement with the EU, and then putin decided it was better not to do it, circumvent the parliament and make a trade deal with russia. This started the protests. Then he thought police brutality would solve this. It didn't. In 2014 Crimea was annexed by unmarked russian troops - seperatists gained access to heavy weapons. There was and is a broad support in ukraine for the Euromaidan revolution which in itself is just an afterburner of the orange revolution steering UA away from what belarus has become in the meantime... when the oligarchs tried to regain political control. How can you forget that many nations of the warsaw pact, have shaken off authoritarian and oligarch leadership of moscow's grace... in their own free will? In UA it took two revolutions, and civil unrest. I really don't understand how tankies have these double standards. If status quo is enforced with corrupt puppets, tanks and violence, it's "democracy". If people protest peacefully to actually have democratic elections and leaders, it's at least a imperialistic CIA operation fueling the protest against the people's will. Heck this falls so short of everything. Ukraine, thriving in free trade with the EU, would be OPEN for russian business, it would be an opportunity. Russia has.. or had.. free markets. If "revolution" means braking the spirit of generations to come, to always agree to the man in moscow, than it's a shit ideology, and I can't understand how it prevails.

Edit: typo There are people in this thread calling for limited nuclear strikes and that nuclear war 'wouldnt be so bad'. If we could have the war mongerers and psycopaths quarentied on another planet by themselves so they could nuke each other however much they want that would be ideal. Sadly thats not possible. In any case no one is asking the chihuahuas how the escalation game will be played. The people stting in a cafe drinking soy lattes and calling for blood wouldnt be so bloodthirsty if they had any responsibility in their lives. The United States and Russia are not angsty teens but actually think about self preservation. If you end up in a bar fight you should be thinking about not getting stabbed and stopping things from getting out of hand. A lot of good your high horse and 'he started it!' will do you when you are bleeding out on the floor

Regular posters or the variety russian trolls that appear for two weeks every few months? You seem to have a very different memory of this thread than i do. Can you provide any evidence of this claim?
