High school is just a waste of time. After I got through the 7th grade, I moved across the country. When the school year was close to starting, I was almost 16 (for various reasons), so instead of going to high school, I decided to just pass the GED instead and go to college.
Basically, it was easy for me to pass the GED (its at a very low level) and I started going to a community college. I took a bunch of remedial classes and transferred to a university after about 2.5 years (including summers). Now I'm 22 and have just graduated with 2 bachelors degrees.
(BTW, all of my younger siblings are doing the same thing, they are going to community college and just skipping highschool. Had to fake their ages to get them in younger than 16 though.)

Eh, high school is so meaningless when I look back on it. If you're not pulling a high enough GPA to get scholarships, there's no reason to pull a high GPA at all. I pulled a 3.7/4.0 GPA in high school and got nothing for it, just as those who pulled a 2.7 did.
I'm happy to be done with high school (several years ago), but at the same time, it was good to have no important obligations. I miss having -only- high school to worry about, and nothing else. I miss being able to come home after school and play video games from 3pm until 1am, and not feel like I'm putting off anything important for it. Enjoy it while you can!

Not because you are in high school. High school itself is a fucking joke and so lame. I just skipped about 50% of my final year and went and partied with friends. I did next to zero homework. Still graduated and then went to a shitty uni for 2 years to get my grades up to As, then tranfered to a good uni. Seriously, dont waste your time trying in highschool. Go party as much as you can while you are still young. Drink, smoke dope, get laid, have a blast. Dont fucking do homework. Thats what college is for.

College was for doing homework? I missed that memo.
It's strange how many high school age Starcraft players there are here considering you were in kindergarten when the game came out. Warcraft is probably older than some of you!

meh... first day.
wasn't too great. there was a good part where the teacher was going around in physiology class asking people what their name was and their wost injury. one guy literally said "well i was swimming around in a pond and a fish bit my dick." that was hilarious and weird. i also met this awesome guy who sits next to me in history... there's like 5 guys in our history class and the rest are girls. we all sat in one corner to protect ourselves.

Hmm, don't worry nitro. Soon enough we'll have another Berkeley LAN and you'll get to see me act Malcom X to Yosh, if you get what I mean...

I only go to college because I pay for the internet bandwidth. Gotta play starcraft somewhere away from all the nagging
EDIT: Just as an aside, unless you're going to be a doctor or something that you need specific (and I mean really specific and important) hands-on training for you can just get the same education from picking up book(s) about the subject. A lot of people that went to college deny this but the only reason you're really going is to get a really special shiny piece of paper called a degree =).
The only real thing you learn in college is how to learn/study.

That shiny degree is VERY VERY VERY critical
