Stork is in a great shape! Divisive map pools! New tourney name and looks, and who knows what else has changed..? Terrible format changes! Soulkey might three-peat! New faces like Wico, Motive who could deliver on stage and upset some old-timers. This group already is going to be entertaining for me to watch. First of all: The new maps. Tilted? Imba? How do these mechanics actually work in a pro-match (Minstrel, Deja vu)? Zero: After taking an easy win in the qualies, I think he is the likeliest to get out of the group. Wico-1127-Noel: Having occasionally new faces is one thing but having a new Soma-type of good gamer would be thousan times more interesting. I'm not seriously shouting "royal road" here but the qualification VOD's I saw had Noel have a strong macro game and good decision making vs the zerg and then Leta as well Rain: I love seeing how Rain plays a game from strategy to execution but in case he falls out here again having either BarrackS or Wico would be fair. BarrackS: Enthuastic pusher, and some days I wonder why do I not remember him playing KCM that much but actually he is in the pool regularly and goes 0-1 or 1-1 mostly. That's how I recall the past few KCM seasons at least. The question of the group is, can Rain step into the same deadly river two times back-to-back (ie. losing to Barracks)? I don't think so but I do believe Wico could upset him in a deciders match.

Queen is looking pretty shaky vs other top pros on the current map pool. Not due to mechanics or macro ability, but due to the maps simply not being that good for zergs not named Soulkey. Feels like zergs have yet to find their meta for these maps whereas terran and protoss have already found theirs. Rain has practiced quite a fair bit to get into shape this time around but his shape does not look up to par with his contemporaries. Feels like he is behind on the meta from the games I saw from him past month or so. Barracks is actually well in pro vs pro compared to the above mentioned. does not look shaky and the maps seem to work well for him(and terran in general.)

The drop did a lot of damage, but the turret repair and valkyrie micro weren't quite good enough. GG!

The preparation and tactic of Wico has been great and I think he can go through in second place for sure.
