So you may ask - why the fuck this damned Nergal is doing blog explaining obvious things? Answer is: maybe good player will see this blog and do strategy guide for Protoss like for example Ahzz did for Zerg? This is really bad that Zerg players have so nice backup while we poor tosses can read only few little, outdated guides. What do you think about this?

One case where this happened: I was playing Sea[Shield] pvp. I expanded before him. Everything else being even, I was ahead economically (before you factor in his macro is better overall). He used his shuttle play to keep me at home. If I were in his shoes, I would have been worried that something could go wrong with the shuttle play and I'd end up significantly behind, but the thought probably hadn't even gone through his mind. He knew how ahead he was and how ahead he was going to be, just because of his skill. Another example is when I played Nony pvp. I expanded before him, and took a third before him. On paper, I should have been ahead. But he wasn't the slightest bit nervous (at least I doubt he was). He adjusted his play accordingly, and slowly overcame the difference until he was way ahead. It wasn't just that he has good macro or micro (although his storms did hurt me a lot), it's that he knows what the deal is!

Maybe a little out of date, but still very helpful. What I'd love to have is basically openings, mid-game strategies, and late-game unit combinations, and how they all interact. Like, 1gate/2gate/FE into robo/stargate/citadel into [insert units here] to get a clear map of what's possible/viable with each opening. It'd be really helpful especially for newer players to know what options are available so they're not just like "what? you mean one gas isn't enough to support corsair/dt/reaver?"
