Hope your not closed for new fans too much. Sorry for English and Do boju Polsko :D ! I can understand that you want to support your teammate. Perhaps you could even somehow feature some stuff of the tournament on your youtube channel? Or perhaps a showmatch between Elazer and Reynor ^^ @vote restriction debates Every possible way of limitation in the voting process will lead to also restricting some SC2-fans from voting. There are SC2 fans without Bnet account. There are SC2 fans without any involvement in community stuff, just watching tournaments for fun. They should be able to vote. Perhaps one could do stuff like "promotion for one's votes can't happen without direct involvement of the player". This way Elazer would've had to actually be in this video of the polish youtuber. Thus this wouldn't be that easy to do and is gets more probable that some people of another scene are actually interested.

Now we need all the dutch to vote for Harstem so he can finally have his year! I want to watch the world burn! Muahaha Edit: Whats with all the vote restrictions ideas? The only decent idea was to need account confirmation mail and send those out x hours later. Most ppl be like "nah don't wanna wait that long, nevermind"

Also, he would have been robbed like Trap if he ended up not going since he would have already been seeded with the old system.

But guys - truly speaking I'm sure there are some "famous" people in Holland, Italy and other countries that could support their players too and make similar calls. As an example - I'm not a football fan and I don't like watch games in TV even. However if it would be any voting for any of the polish player in any online competition - I would give him my vote. The only thing is to get aware about such voting event. Youtuber that Elazer was given a support from is a member of X-KOM AGO Esport team so literally they are teammates. If you look at the screencast on YouTube you notice that only less than 10% of watchers voted for Elazer (there are over 100 000 watchers) It will be super hard to find a more fair way of voting - however I agree that Blizzard should come back with something. However we should keep in mind that no all fans have Blizzard account, not all fans are regular players, not all fans owns StarCraft 2 game copy... etc. Some of the fans just watch their streams, follow on tournaments... etc. Maybe there should be some set of simple questions about StarCraft 2 and StarCraft community before you can make a vote. The answer would give to Blizzard somehow a way to judge whether the voting account belongs to real fan - or it's just accidentally person who knows nothing about SC2. It doesn't secure voting from being SCAM from the fans who create massive amount of accounts to support their players but it is something to begin with.

Elazer is in the AGO esports team, and the community face of this team (that bad bold Youtuber) asked the community to vote for him. Even if the votes are not coming from the SC2 players they are coming from the AGO esports fans. No one breaks the rules here, and imo these votes are Ethically good sourced. Yes he didn't break the rule. However, remember this, this is a SC2 competition and his original SC2 vote was only 500, this is what he truly deserves in this SC2 community. Do not mess up the concept of SC2 and esport.

Please guys, make sure Reynor, the current WCS Champion and arguably #2 non korean holds his spot for GSL vs The World. Yeah, she is currently streaming with 2k viewers. I hope, they ll show a Raynor match from ASUS ROG, that might help him. Kind of bad timing, that the end of the voting phase collides with a big tournament.
