Are you a new player that would like to get connected to the foreign brood war community? Would you like a chance to show off your skills and be casted? The Rookie StarLeague is your opportunity! It is a multi week tournament that will have games casted on twitch. We are back for a second season by popular demand, and have taken into account previous complaints to hopefully create a smoother product for all.
Who?

When?
This event would take place after CPL playoffs are finished, over a timeframe of about a month, with a round every week. Signups begin now, at https://challonge.com/tournaments/signup/ohVJ2vK4or. Signups will close 11:59 PM GMT, Saturday July 27th and confirmed brackets will be available at that time on Challonge. Please create your account on Challonge with the same name as your ladder account.
How?
The tournament will have a round robin group stage for the first round, in which each participant plays one game against each other player in the group. Each player agrees on a map from the map pool. The top two players from each group will advance. After the first round, there will be individual bo5s; the first map will be Fighting Spirit and the loser will pick a map from the map pool.
Map Pool:
Cross Game, Fighting Spirit, Circuit Breaker, Clay Fields, and Neo Sylphid. If you do not have some of these maps, they will be posted on discord.
Due to the round robin format, there will no longer be deadlines for each individual game in the group stage; there is only the requirement that you have all your games in by Sunday 11:59 PM GMT/7:59 EDT. Please attach replays with the reported scores. In addition, you will now be able to see your matchup without waiting on me and mrwizard to update the brackets.
