If he shows his usual micro vs neeb he probably does more dmg with the bunker as well and wins that series. I love maru but if you don't bring your a game you lose these games. Maru wins Dark 2-0: Maru didn't really play all that well... Neeb's colossi walks into Maru's army: if he did more dmg with that bunker... Yes, Maru did not play perfectly well, but how on Earth it justifies the fact that he's got SMASHED by tier 2 protoss players? Trap and Neeb played perfectly? Maru won 1 game out of 4 going tank push. When he tried macro, he got murdered by protoss. No chances. And everyone is OK with that saying "Oh he did not play perfectly!". Has the whole world gone crazy?

I still feel he could have advanced first tho, had he not gone for proxies in game 2 and 3 against Bunny. Looked like he was bored and it could have costed him. I think his biggest problem is proxying too much when he has great macro play. All the other players know he's very likely to bring out the proxies at this point.

It was also visible in his 2nd game against impact. He gambled too much on his pushes and didn't expect the Zerg to defend it that well. Was a bit lucky to advance in the end...

Maru doesn't age. He is immortal. Seriously though, that much travel must be pretty taxing on the body... Hopefully he doesn't get sick because of it.

Now the hardest opponent is probably INno because Serral looks beatable in the lategame and Maru is deadly in bo7 TvZ. As for Scarlett I think she's less strong than Serral in ZvT so it should be ok as well were she to win. It's gonna be difficult either way but I think he can do it. As for GSL, I don't think it's worrying at all that he doesn't look impressive in ro32 and ro16. Because iirc that happened a lot during his GSL wins... it actually comforts me in the belief that he is gonna do well.

I think inno is scary because TvT isn't maru's favorite matchup to put it lightly, and inno was always really strong in the matchup. Still, if a serral vs maru finals happens that should be a tough match as well, even if it is serral's weakest matchup. I am cautiously optimistic though after yesterday, maru definitely can win this tournament. Would i bet on it right now? Probably not (self-defense mechanism :D) GSL is tough to say, his road will be a hard one. Probably Dark and then TY/sOs? with a potential of inno/rogue in the finals. Just very unlikely one wins this stacked tournament, would be crazy though if he managed to win 4 in a row.
