With the announcement of Reforge awhile back, I decided to go back into RTSs. I played Dawn Of War 2 and Company of Heroes before stopping at Warcraft 3. I liked the game but then watching the latest GSL matches I decided to boot up SC2 again.
SC2 is one of those games that I will always install every time I have a new pc or a new installation of Windows but I never really. It's been like 2 years since I last sat down and played. Until recently that is.
My goal is to play one game a day until I play until my bonus pool is up until I hit Masters. I just did my placement and I'm plat 1. Making my way to Diamond before the end of the Season and hoping Masters by the end of the year.
Which means... Once I hit Masters, I'm going to try to do OSC events and maybe I can finally join the WCS qualifiers like my heroes.
That's the plan.

Don't get your hopes up, there is quite the difference between plat and diamond, and then diamond and masters, and then top master and OSC and even more with WCS qualifiers... depending on how far you want to go. Especially with one game a day. So take it easy and have fun, but don't raise the bar higher than your arms + a jump from a chair...

If the bar is too low, you might trip.

You know that's right;
It isn't 2012 anymore lol
but I got the CTL on my mind that I'm shooting for at least;

An hour a day might be better than a game a day with your ambitions. Or two hours.

Those big tournaments are hardcore and nerves are an important thing to get over. I would suggest joining a clan for https://alpha.tl/ which has tournaments for diamond and under players. I am a part of CloudM or cosmic cloud militia, they have regular in house tournaments, I would highly recommend. Also, practice partners can be regularly found in clans. I suggest cloudm because I am familiar with it, other active clans will do.

People don't get to Masters on a game a day.
But GLHF!

yeah Clans are very helpful if you want to play tournaments, have some practice partners can really boost specific match ups and allow you to practice more focused than ladder.
