but her0 is still a great player and PvP is a match up that can really go either way but yeah certainly not a bad draw!

Last year Zest also played herO at ST first round. herO used mass oracles to play around Zest's mass phoenix. That was a crazy comeback game. This time though I think Zest easily takes it.

The final game he chose a very high risk stupid strategy. Doing proxy dt after a failed proxy stargate... why not just play safe after that... It really is depressign because he has the skill, but cant deliver.

It's a shame because he could have had a great chance getting past Inno and Stats in the ro8/4.

In games 2 and 3 Zest took a fight in space, away from a ramp or protective cannons or shield batteries. In both engagements Hero had a little better army and won and that was the difference. That was not cheese! The main skirmish in map 3 was after Zest warped in several Hts because he had lots of gas. He made Archons and probably thought his army was strong enough. Hero had about 15 army supply more and a better mix with more charged Zealots and Immortals as well as some Archons and air.

After the DTs did not work well in map 2 it became a longer game and as I said before he lost a major fight in space. The army that Zest had and lost with was a stalker dominated army vs charged Zealots and Immortals. Tell me if that was the right mix.

Nah Zest's army was better in the final fight in g3, but phoenixes sniping the prism meant herO could reinforce his army and Zest couldn't. He was about a minute or so away from having a strong enough army in G2. Don't forget that despite herO losing probes he'd been building a much stronger and larger army. Zest was still behind overall, but probably felt forced to defend his third as his main would have been running dry and a probe lead means nothing if they can't mine.

The most recent power rankings have Zest 11th with 4 Protoss players among the 10 ahead of him. Stats-Classic-sOs-Trap. 2 of those plus Hero made the final 4 at ST. Remember the group D Protoss meat grinder in the rd of 16 at GSL? sOs-Stats-Trap-Hero all there. 1. Stats 2. Classic 3. Hero 4. sOs 5a Zest 5b Trap 5c Neeb 5d Dear 6. Showtime 7. Hurricane 8.
