EPTZoomed out images seem cartoony which is not surprising because Starcraft was not originally designed for wide shots that will be available in Remastered, and it's good that Blizzard is including this tool for observers.
However, it crossed my mind that it may look beautiful if the wide images had a spheric effect, giving the impression that we are zooming out of the planet that's hosting these battles.
I did a bit of photoshop, and played with different distortion levels.
I settled for the distortion of 7%, which in my opinion, adds just the bit of mystery that I'd like, while still keeping everything perfectly recognizable and un-annoying. (that was the idea anyway).

In my opinion it gives a pretty decent 3D effect, that is badly needed in zoomed out mode.
This would only apply to the zoomed out observer mode of course.
