http://www.artofproblemsolving.com/LaTeX/AoPS_L_GuideCommands.php go to "symbols" to get more things like almost equal to, greek letters, etc. If you are going to write things with equatiosn regularly, I suggest installing miktex + winshell as suggested above. Otherwise just do a pdf ("latex file.tex", "dvipdf file.dvi") and copy paste into the stupid word editor that you have you pay for to use, and that others cant read if they dont pay up as well.... | ||

1) Find a wikipedia page with an equation similar to the one you need. 2) Click the edit button so you can view the latex that makes up the equation. Thats how I do it. But I don't write latex so if you actually want to learn it you should probably go with different suggestions. | ||
