reformatting? is there a tool for something like this? lets say i want to delete a game, and after its deleted, theres still registry/data/even a folder for it, can it just be erased permanently? thanks tl!

CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/) can remove leftover registry entries and other stuff that the uninstaller didn't remove.

You're looking for a crap cleaner. The one I use is ccleaner, highly recommended by some pc magazine and I kinda declared it good enough.

It's free to download, just google it. Not hard to find.

Do not just delete shortcuts, delete the actual files that those shortcuts link to. Also, try pressing <shift> when deleting so its gets delete immediately (and not just go to the recycle bin).
