So yesterday I'm calling up my friend to confirm this LAN party that I'm going to. Of course I'm met with certain time constraints. In the morning I have to attend my girlfriend's piano recital and in the evaning I have work. So I was going to try to throw in some pwning right there in the middle. Turns out that this recital isn't in town. Its Thirty Five Fucking Miles Away! Who has a recital in a different county? So today is a sad day as I cannot game. Thus a throwback to when your mom was blocking your training to become the world's strongest. I will not game.
This itself reminds me of some of my most fondest childhood memories: the games that I could not win. Here are my top five greatest Failures in the gaming world.
5)Bomberman Hero: A little known Nintendo 64 game, Bomberman hero allowed you to jump and assume from the music and image sequences that you were having an acid trip. Fucked up music. The worst part is that the part i could not win was a boss where you fight the sphynx underwater on an Aquaman esque submarine thing. No Joke. Three levels from the end.
4)Final Fanboy (Fantasy)VII: I never beat the ruby weapon. And I'll admit to you all that I've played through it several times. And all of you out there who are like "You dono't need to kill ruby because the desert rose only gives you a gold chocobo and you would already have one then," I tell you "shutup N00b its about pwning the hardest boos in the game" and I could not do it 8(.
3) Some SNES game: I don't remeber the name but I was three, I rented it from the King Supers when I lived in Colorado and you had to collect little card symbols. Stupid game anyways.
2) A WoW raid: Yeah I played it. Never had an account but played with some friends. We ran ragefire chasm and four fucking hours later died on the last boss of it. What the Fuck. I hung up my scepter that I bought with some friend's gold that day.
1) The number one failure of my gaming carrer was........
Kingdom Hearts II. I never got the secret ending. Okay so that one kinda sucked. But if you need something to laugh about I actually cried at the end. Seriously. I played it for like eight hours one day and got depressed that it was over. Say no to RPG's kids.
To close, I'm boning up on the Strat forums this weakend (Those recommended Threads btw? they aren't really kept current Chill) Come Monday morning I'm taking the fight To ICCUP. Hopefully I can clear my score after the first fifteen losses.
