I am absolutely shocked, dumbfounded, by the improvement I made in this short time.
For reference, you can literally not find a worse singer on earth than me (except for someone tone deaf). It was literally and absolutely painful as fuck to hear me sing. The most painful thing and embarrassing thing in the world. Like, just, please for the love of God, stop. Don't even bother. Just, leave.
On top of that, my base vocal range was next to nothing. If you said 6-12 months ago if I would be able to hit half the notes in this song then I would have said you are a stinking liar, let alone the 'high' notes. Range is something I have worked on for a year now and it too has blown my mind, and only 'recently' have did I finally begin to make and then solidify the breakthrough, but I made it all the same. It is jawdropping, the improvement
So, following advice from here, lately I spent ~2 nights practicing with Kareoke instead of singing along to normal songs, and the result is incredible, amazing, wonderous, spellbinding
(Although I am on some painkillers when I recorded this, which I think gives me a big generalised bonus above my normal ability, too, lol. this is, also, like take 1, just straight up)
Thank you to the people who encouraged me in the past
spent the time to download songs that i like, feel free to suggest more !
