Dunno how to match the first sentence to the title so ill say this,IT DRAINS YOUR STARCRAFT SKILL.
On friday in my quest to decide on a race for good,i was going to play 20 games with each race and whichever came out with the highest winning % i would use. I began friday with Protoss,only managing 8 games with a win % of around 50 (Best being PvZ). I then installed World Of Fucking Warcraft,And decided to play a while on Sunday with my friends account..
... since..my friend gave me his account to use.the game just before i started playing i had an APM of 205. After 3 days of playing a few minutes ago i played another game. All of my senses were off and i ended the game with a medicore 70 apm.
This leads me to believe that,All of my senses were off i teched slowly had a lot of idle probes and got OWNED. HARD.
WoW makes you slow and ..ugh..

You just aren't good and a few days of no practice made you suck, regardless of if you were playing WoW or jacking it all day.

how can it suck your skill away? it takes like 2 days of playing sc to get back to ur original skill level. you just suck or didnt give it time or are trying to appeal to TL.net by bashing WoW. which i approve of !! good job

wait you ended the game at 70 live apm or the average for the full game was 70?
If its the second, 200 -> 70 pretty much sounds like bullshit

i played d2 while playing sc. the skill drainage is fucking significant. i would be mindlessly looking at my minerals go up to 1k and realize oh shit its 1k and start macroing out of TWO GATEWAYS, utter useless. dont play trash unless you become bored of sc, then dont play sc until you quit rpgs.

wow hella kills your sc skill
it takes so long to walk places and do quests and shit also... its just such a drain on time and energy

why would it drop so much o_O
it becomes like 2nd nature to keep an average apm, maybe 205 to like 150 is still exceptable, but 70? -___-
