CS and SC are by far the highest skill games. not great to watch tho imho I prefer Quake 1on1 fps Yes. Quake was the greatest 1on1 game ever made. SSBM even better I wish SSBM wasn't the same 5 players fighting for 1st place at every tournament :/

SSBM even better I wish SSBM wasn't the same 5 players fighting for 1st place at every tournament :/ It's actually not right now. Mostly Armada/Hbox with a bit of Mango and sometimes Leffen, M2K hasn't won in forever iirc. But there are up and coming players, Plup is the next godslayer for example. I'd rather have that than the random mess sc2 has been :x, but I guess it depends on your taste indeed. Tbf, most very well known 1v1 esports games are great, and probably the best in their respective genre! Can't really objectively say which game (among quake/sc:bw/sc2/ssbm/did I forget one?) is the best 1v1 game...

1. The production was great. I loved the amount of content, short breaks between games and quick reports on games beeing played off the stream. Good casting and properly hosted by Kaelaris. 2. Great level of games in Ro8 onwards. there was some one sided games in Ro12 unfortunately however it is not that big of a deal. A bit to many mirrors tho even if still well played. 3. Format was quite interesting and refreshing and I liked it. My only concern was that there was just a bit too many games at group stages for my liking. Round robin + 6 players in group combined is too much I feel and not only it did slightly affect level of some games but also I did not manage to watch all games because of that. I'd prefer smaller amount of games but more showed at the stream at the same time. Potentially 2nd stream? 4. Organization this year felt better. I did not have any problem moving around the both venues, there was enough room to not feel overwhelmed by crowd. Also I love the fact that lol and sc2/Cs was run at different weeks - crowd was still big enough but more time and room for sc2 and not overly crowded venue 5. I wish there was more interaction with players as in 2015 - potential for some photos and shirt signing All in all another great tournament by ESL keep it up guys!

I always liked TY style especially his map tailored builds in PL. aLive played out of his mind this tournament - great underdog story. And Quake is top1 Plebs talk about Flash when Armada is the real god Quake is great, 2GD hopefully delivers and gives us Cypher playing diabotical instead of Overwatch

Unreal Tournament/UT2004 was a fantastic 1v1 game though not nearly as fun to watch as Quake. It had some iconic players too namely GitzZz who I'd consider one of the GOAT FPS players.
