Well I played nonstop like 30 games in a row again, this time just messing around not trying to win (2k account).
I found out that "icewall-only" invoker is really fucking fun, you go blink/forcestaff and then just do your thing
Next is a fucking awesome sunstrike on a weaver I just catched a glimpse of and spontaeniously had to land a shot at him and was crazy pleased with the outcome. Sunstrikes are generally very easy but ones like this are harder to come by. This was on a hasted invis hero I had barely seen and had to target one of several paths he would take
And here is the last clip, a teamfight after we were stuck in our base for ages and finally managed to break free. I don't know how I pulled it off, but you can see quite a few cool things happening here. I dodge the drow gust silence then land deafening blast on both the slark and drow who are in different places, double meteor on the axe and drow, cold snap and rightclicks on the slark, then with a followup tornado you see a nice axe's call dodge followed by the sweetest styling ice wall I've ever had the pleasure of pulling off. So sick.
tnx ^_^ i've been struggling a lot with video capture coz i'm using a 7 year old (but still excellent CPU)
i remembered it helps a little to switch to the regular dota map. but for the last video my pc was dying and i just couldn't get the frame rate down.
in the past i am subscribed to www.dotamemories.com which automatically records your games and sends them to youtube (only kill/death periods tho, not sure if it would work well for a teamfight), but i'm not subbed atm and they haven't added the option to add previously-played games yet so i didn't re-sub.
but instead i found jist.tv does a similar thing, it lets you process any replay file then extract a 1 minute clip from it. unfortunately the video quality isn't great (and 1 minute can be limiting) but its still infinitely better than my stutterstep recording.
i sent an email to dotamemories explaining they they might want to step up their game if jist.tv is going to be a competitor with more popular features, i look forward to the future of dota video capture !
now i spent the next 2 days feeling like shit after my 2 day non-stop dota marathon lol
