Was never really a fan of DIA, since much of my exposure to them was them trying to deafen me with that one track every single time a Afreeca stream ended, and then there was that song with the terrible pitch shifted circular saw droning through most of the track. How exactly are they supposed to be a group without Seunghee? She was that ex-Five Dolls they formed the group around and relied upon, to a nearly Soyeon degree, for vocals, yes? What was it, two rappers, three sub vocals, and Seunghee? - Not sure if want to take the slippery slope of kpop vinyl.
- Seunghee was in F-ve Dolls, not part of 5dolls/Co-ed School. Co-ed School females were: Hyoyoung, Soomi, Chanmi, Hyewon, with Eunkyo being added in when they made 5Dolls/Five Dolls. Soomi was removed, rumored to be bullied. Chanmi was later removed, rumored to be a bully. Presumably if that were true, Double Sidekick would not after a few years opted to recruit her for their new project girl group and put her on Produce 101.
5dolls was restructured in 2013 taking surviving Hyoyoung, Hyewon, and Eunkyo and adding Seunghee, Nayeon, and Yeonkyung. But given el-oh-el dats not five people, it became F-veDolls. Kwangsoo's fucking mistake of a street casting performed with them for a song, name was otherwise unchanged. After which, shit died. Nayeon went back to America for a bit...think she's back in Korea now. Seunghee, well that's already been covered. Hyoyoung, is just hanging around some gym hoping for her acting career to go somewhere. Hyewon is spending her time doing stuff and hoping for EXID's Junghwa to call her out to do shit. Eunkyo is in...uh theater? Yeonkyung was double rostered for F-ve Dolls and The Seeya, for what very, very little good that did her.
They will be fine! SeungHee was the leader/main vocal since she had experience from both F-Ve Dolls and Co-Ed and got probably most exposure since people knew her since before.
